I love shopping! In theory, I would BUY ALL THE THINGS! In reality, I don’t have a big budget for shopping, I’m kind of cheap, and I tend to shop at the same five places all the time. And I don’t have a lot of spare time for shopping excursions, anyway. I’ve been thinking about all the ways we all can save or make extra money. As usual. And recently, I was given the opportunity to review ThredUp. I was thrilled to accept the opportunity because I’m a huge fan of this company and also because so many people have asked for my opinion about ThredUP.
I’m always on the lookout for ways to make money. And since we all work so hard for the money we earn, it’s also nice to come across simple ways to save, too. So, when I come across easy ways to earn a little extra cash that can also help rack up savings, I’m especially excited to share. One of the easiest ways to do both is by joining refer a friend programs for your favorite brands and products that you already use. Depending on the program, this could amount to a nice chunk of change each year or cut down on the costs of using those products or services each month.
Maven Xchange lets people earn money by recommending products and services to other people. Those who love to shop, can now monetize their skill in an easy, natural way. Many people are calling it the Pinterest of Affiliate Marketing and with good reason. I believe that everyone is an expert at something. The experienced mother of four who recommends to her friend, and soon to be first-time mother, safe baby products to buy. The college student who is commonly hit up for fashion advice because of her stylish yet thrifty outfits. The tech enthusiast who knows exactly what to buy to create the ideal ‘smart home’.
There are lots of folks out there talking about making money online. I mean– I can’t even get through my Facebook news feed these days without seeing an advertisement of some rando with a big cheesy smile talking about their life changing webinar… and LOTS of people running around calling themselves gurus and influencers. Even worse and more confusing, there are lots of blogging “experts” that only make money blogging about making money blogging
There is a lot of discussion online on whether you can “really” make money taking surveys. You can. I don’t know of anyone that actually makes a full time income doing it – but you can certainly get paid to take surveys. I personally have made quite a bit of money doing surveys and when I find cash running short (almost always!!!) – I know that surveys are a way that I can “get in there” and make a little extra money. I just keep earning points or cash and know that this is money I am setting aside for something particular. I can typically make anywhere from $200 to $400 a month doing surveys.
There are people who enjoy working out, and then there’s me… I require a little extra motivation. 😉 I don’t work out nearly as much myself as I want to, but if someone were dangling free money in my face you can bet your ass I’d be out that door before even finishing this post. There are lots of websites and apps out there that will help you track your eating and log your miles. However, these programs are typically the most useful for those individuals who have a great internal drive or commitment to healthy living. Or at very least, the motivation to remember to log in and stick to the plan.
Believe it or not, you can earn money online by listening to and reviewing music. Yes, some websites will really pay you cash for listening to your favorite songs on internet radio, testing out short music samples, or rating new music. By signing up to the following online review sites, you can make money whenever you review a piece of music and comment on its quality. The key is to sign up with online music review sites that pay for music reviews. You probably aren’t going to get rich listening to and reviewing music, but it’s an easy way to pick up a few extra dollars.
Hey mamas! today I’m going to talk about a new way to earn money online. Do you use link shorteners? Short links are pretty cool because they take your long fugly link and condense it to a shorter, easy-to-remember link. Usually you can track the links, build campaigns, etc. But, can you monetize them? Sure can! And the kicker is you don’t have to have a website to earn money either…although it helps to earn more from your shortened links.
